Mr. McGrath’s career spans private equity, mezzanine lending, transaction advisory as well as management consulting. Before joining Atlanta Equity, he was a Vice President with the private investment group Liberty Lane Partners, focusing on services, distribution, healthcare and industrial companies. Prior to Liberty Lane, Mr. McGrath worked at the Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”) within its Capital Markets’ Mergers & Acquisitions advisory group where he worked across a variety of industries and with both public and financial sponsor backed companies. Prior to RBC, he worked at Chatham Capital facilitating mezzanine investments. Through these positions, Mr. McGrath has gained significant middle-market advisory and investment experience that spans the balance sheet. He also gained valuable management consulting and operational experience working with Andersen Consulting (Accenture), Webtone Technologies and Idapta.
 
Mr. McGrath currently serves on the board of Empower Software Solutions, LLC. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in History from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA, with honors, from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
