Atlanta Equity completes fundraising for inaugural fund focused on investments in growing companies primarily in the Southeastern U.S. seeking capital to fund acquisitions, recapitalizations and growth.
Atlanta Equity Investors, LLC ("Atlanta Equity") announced today that it has completed fundraising for Atlanta Equity Fund, LP with $109 million in capital commitments.
"Atlanta Equity Fund was well received in the Southeastern market in which we’ve strategically chosen to focus our investment efforts," said Pete Correll, a founder and Chairman of the firm. "Over 95% of Atlanta Equity’s Limited Partners are based in the Southeastern U.S. which speaks to our belief that local investors and middle market companies are underserved by local private equity."
The fund's limited partners include leading university endowments, insurance companies, charitable foundations, family offices and select high net worth investors.
